Vacant position: Color IT Expert for PPG Refinish Nordics

As Color IT Expert, you will be supporting technical activities related to all our Color IT tools, hardware, software and MoonWalk™ in all the segments we operate in, and covering all our brands in the Nordic region.

PPG Refinish Nordics is a key player within the automotive refinish market, providing premium car paint and innovative bodyshop solutions for our customers in the Nordics. PPG are leaders in digital innovation – and as Color IT Expert, you will be a key player within this field.

The PPG IT color tools is a common denominator for all the PPG tools that are used to retrieve and mix the correct color formular for paint mixing. Among these tools are the paint mixing program itself and all equipment related to Color mixing: Our automated mixing machine, MOONWALK™, paint management software, scales, cameras, and screens.

The MOONWALK™ is a key PPG innovation that has made automated paint mixing the new standard in an industry that used to be focused on labor intensive manual mixing. You can read more about the MOONWALK™ here.

We do not expect you to know our IT Color tools beforehand. There will be extensive training and internal support in the handover process. The most important thing is that you have strong IT skills and will thrive in an expert support role with a large contact area.

Organization

You will work closely with PPG colleagues in the Nordics, primarily technicians. You will also participate in professional groups across EMEA; a group for IT responsibles, Color IT EMEA group and MOONWALK™ EMEA group. Generally in this position, you will have a wide network in the organization and many dealings with customers and partners.
